This part of the site shows an overview of the Book reporting how I moved from the beginning of Cardiac Pacing to molecular biology of Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathies, identified a new clinical entity and developed several new therapeutic techniques originally based on cardiac surgery followed by intracardiac catheter ablation.

The original French version of this book, which contained at the beginning 138 figures all made by the author, was evaluated of about 600 pages. Only some already translated chapters or paragraphs will be displayed on this site.

For proper management purposes these samples will be presented after the original French “Table des matières" (Table of content). By the way this may prompt some people interested by some intriguing chapters to force me to translate them earlier than originally planned. Beside the medical and scientific aspects of this subject, I have included a lot of funny stories that I use to tell during dinner parties and that many friends urge me to publish. Some are related to the history of Medicine, others are independent and have been collected during my travels around the World.

Patients, family members and people interested in the History of medicine and cardiology have translated most chapters!

Translation is, thanks to Internet, an on going process, which is more flexible than to make the book available only when complete translation will be finished. Because of the power of Internet it is also possible to include much more interesting figures than originally thought. It is also possible to use the flexibility of hypertext concerning the “definitions of medical terms” and the links to “Annexes” explaining some particular aspects of Medicine unsuspected by non-physicians!

Only some edited chapters and paragraphs already translated in American-English have been added to give you the feeling of the style of the author who has the reputation to be a good story teller, enjoy !
