Dancer I37 viewsThe original, painted in 1965 was not satisfactory and was repainted to increase the feeling of rotation during dance.
This new photograph also includes a black edge around the support of conglomarated wood increasing the presentation of the painting.
This painting was later copied and modified to give birth to the Oriental Dancer in 2006.
Stored in a psychiatric surgery in Paris. As there is (as usual) no signature on this painting, any new consultant entering the room returns the painting to look for the name of the painter !
I was said that it was non exception after three years of display !

I have got the solution !63 viewsThis is the phase of exhaltation when I was almost convinced that I discovered what I was looking for since many years !

More difficult than expected !47 viewsThis painting may describe the approach phase when I was convinced that a solution was possible. I asked to collaborate all the most brillant electrophysiologists that I knew in France and in the USA. Especially my spiritual master Dr Albert Waldo who introduced the concept of "Entrainement" of a tachycardia demonstrating that it was a reentrant phenomenon. I was fascinated by this concept and thought about it for 3 years !

The first step is to understand the problem !51 viewsOn this series of paintings called Fast Calligraphic Paintings (FCP) I will describe the process of discovering a new concept in cardiac Electrophysiology which has been classified as my second intellectual "Tour de force" (masterstroke) ! Here the artist is in the phase of concentration which in fact lasted for 3 years to deeply understand a concept already demonstrated in literature. This is partially described in the "Artist" menu tag and extensively described in "The Book".

5 Roses in a Vase39 viewsThis painting was stored in the cellar of one of my friends like thef fruits painting made at the same time
The roses have been studied on paper before to be transfered and slightly modified on the final support.
The background was tried as particularly complex. I had the impressin that it was too complex when I retrieved the painting after many years.
Some minor restoration was needed. However, the black and red parts of the roses have been repainted without any modification.

Bringing to the people of this World49 views"Bringing to the people of this World" has been painted in a phase of unexpected exaltation when the central calligraphy was finished. on the white background. Then the idea came that the callygraphy represented my contribution to the world of painting without thinking of what will follow over the years. Therefore I am now obliged to think that this painting was a premonition of my future. It was then totally forgotten and stored in the cellar with all the other paintings. I took me some time when rediscovered to remember the history of this work; I am now very interested by the drawings around the central representation of Earth...

Heart Embryology39 viewsDespite its color this painting strongly suggests embryology of the heart of a mamal ! It has been cleaned and slightly remastered (especially the calligraphic black lines). The formation of the heart starts in the embryo from a simple tube. Later there are rotations and torsions producing the final organ which is in fact finished in its basic structure several years after birth. I was originally interested by heart embriology when I worked on the Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome in the early 70s. This painting was made around 10 years before...
