Highly Improbable Physics51 viewsThis painting was previously called "The Maelstrom". However, it looked so sad that I wanted to do something to improve it. In addition it was no place for the calligraphic style. In a first step, I added the red signs in the center of the maelstrom. Then thinking of the next step it could have been simple to add more signs going to the periphery... However, as a joke I made a modification which will be for a physicist highly improbable !

However, it was considered by my wife very dark and too sad !
I changed it to become an improbable phenomenon of physics that physicists will quickly recognise
Again I can put some humour in a painting (see also Tribute to Fautrier) !

Beginning of polymerisation36 viewsThis represents the beginning of the junction of molecules of different kinds represented by different colors.
Colors may also represent physical properties which are known or even unknown.
At the end of polymerisation an homogeneous structure will be produced with properties which completely different of those of its original components.
This painting is finally a representation of a phenomenon that I feel intuitively with strong mechanical reactive forces, exothermic, change of physical properties etc...
It is in the same style as biological cells without a nuclei
