This colour was able to move to the border of the painting giving a better effect as I have also discussed in another painting. Therefore a new photograph has to be taken and displayed on the site.

Dancer I37 viewsThe original, painted in 1965 was not satisfactory and was repainted to increase the feeling of rotation during dance.
This new photograph also includes a black edge around the support of conglomarated wood increasing the presentation of the painting.
This painting was later copied and modified to give birth to the Oriental Dancer in 2006.
Stored in a psychiatric surgery in Paris. As there is (as usual) no signature on this painting, any new consultant entering the room returns the painting to look for the name of the painter !
I was said that it was non exception after three years of display !

However, the photographic numeric process has added a slight pink color on most of the background which fits perfectly well with the painting. Therefore I will have to add physically this slight change on this painting. During my last visit in California in 05/08 I added some more work introducing a different blue color and an additional graph in the background. I am not sure if that was correct. I will discuss that later...

This is obviously a tribute to the painting style of Bernard Buffet. I like the very serious attitude of this old gentlman who is tight in his education, culture, dressing as opposed to the bird which can represent freedom !

In that cases there is no reflection but the angle of the picture is far from perpendicularity which is the common way of presenting paintings in virtual galleries. This painting was displayed in my office in hospital Jean Rostand (Ivry) and now in La Salpêtrière (Paris).
