Change in Pacing Spike Vectorial Orientation39 viewsIn case of insulation lead failure in a Pacemker/Defibrillator there is a change in the amplitude of spikes recorded on the frontal plane in ECG leads. Therefore, the change is these amplitude discovered during follow-up might be a sign of alert. The calculation of vectors will indicate the site of lead failure. However, nowadays this calculation is not included in the software of ECG machines.

Pacemaker and Electrophysiology Logo47 viewsThis logo was asked to me by Pr Yves Grosgogeat when the department of Cardiology dedicated to Cardiac Arrhythmias was established and running at Hopital Jean Rostand, in a city very close to Paris. It took me about three weeks to accept the final design!
