As calm as a boa48 viewsThis should be the last painting of this series !
After the discovery of a new concept in Electrophysiology it is time to relax a little bit. However, in Biological Sciences we are never sure that a new concept will be really important for the treatment of patients. Now, I can relax about this concept. However, my problem is that I have now a new possibly important concept in mind. I have to work hard on ECG analysis to demonstrate its value !

More than Incomplete Right Bundle Branch Block46 viewsThe artisitc value of this slide is based on the Blue background with a darker blue colour on top and bottom as compared to the middle. Note that the running title on top of the slide and the red line which are identical all over the presentation. Below the red line, the title of the chapter and in white the reason of this specific slide. The lower part is made by three pictures Magnetic Resonance Image and two ECGS , the extreme right is a blow up view of the interesting point stressing the difference of 25 milliseconds between some of the ECG Leads...

Change in Pacing Spike Vectorial Orientation39 viewsIn case of insulation lead failure in a Pacemker/Defibrillator there is a change in the amplitude of spikes recorded on the frontal plane in ECG leads. Therefore, the change is these amplitude discovered during follow-up might be a sign of alert. The calculation of vectors will indicate the site of lead failure. However, nowadays this calculation is not included in the software of ECG machines.

Electrogenesis of ECG tracing35 viewsThis figure is extracted from the french version of the "Book". It shows the relation between the electric activation of the heart from the atrium to the ventricle. The artistic beauty of this schematic representation is the size of each component and the logical general structure. This is of course, well done by the departments of publisher's graphic ressources but will not have for me the same quality as if I do it myself !
