The Shadow of the Star Dancer Jump26 viewsWhen the Star dancer enter the stage he used to do so by a big jump from the dark to the spot of maximal light.
The calligraphy is my description of the shadow made by the dancer during his big jump ! This is the first version, this painting has been reworked recently in 8/2007 and will be displayed again later in 2007

Dancer I37 viewsThe original, painted in 1965 was not satisfactory and was repainted to increase the feeling of rotation during dance.
This new photograph also includes a black edge around the support of conglomarated wood increasing the presentation of the painting.
This painting was later copied and modified to give birth to the Oriental Dancer in 2006.
Stored in a psychiatric surgery in Paris. As there is (as usual) no signature on this painting, any new consultant entering the room returns the painting to look for the name of the painter !
I was said that it was non exception after three years of display !

Jump of the Star Dancer28 viewsThis was the original drawing that I made in the beginning of year 2005. Here we can see the calligraphy in black lines superimposed on the Charcoal drawing. It indicates the way the artist is sometimes proceeding in his most elaborated elaborated work going from a sketch on a piece of paper, its reproduction in charcoal on the support, the Callygraphy. In this example the background was not considered as important !
