Technique of Calligraphy33 viewsIf you click twice on this detail of one of the FCP you will understand better the technique used in this series of small fast paintings.
The support background is masonite uniformly covered by matt White Acrylic. The calligraphic background is made with a rough brush and acrylic. When the acrylic background has dried the painting is enhanced by glossy lines in Black and Red having generally the same movement. The resulting effect which is obvious on the painting is not so obvious on the website gallery !
The contrast between the matt background and the glossy calligraphy is frequent in my paintings

BBBOriginal38 viewsThis represents the first draft of BBB that I discovered by chance on a disquette ! It is interesting to see the progression of the work. The charcoal general forms are still there on the lower part of the painting but the high part has been already accentuated by the black callygraphic lines.
The gentleman in the back will be changed. A blue blanket will be added, the bottle and the glass will disappear. The hair will also be added...

However, in Biological Sciences we are never sure that a new concept will be really important for the treatment of patients. Now, I can relax about this concept. However, my problem is that I have now a new possibly important concept in mind. I have to work hard on ECG analysis to demonstrate its value !

Husband and wife60 viewsHusband and wife are linked by a legal act. However, after a time which is highly variable from couple to couple the link between the two partner is getting less strong than during the initial period after wedding.
This unsatisfactory situation may lead to the rupture of the link, each one trying to build a new life with a different partner. Sometimes thats work !
At least for a while, but the same situation may occur again; I think that this is rather sad. I am fortunate to have the same wife after several decades...

Highly Improbable Physics51 viewsThis painting was previously called "The Maelstrom". However, it looked so sad that I wanted to do something to improve it. In addition it was no place for the calligraphic style. In a first step, I added the red signs in the center of the maelstrom. Then thinking of the next step it could have been simple to add more signs going to the periphery... However, as a joke I made a modification which will be for a physicist highly improbable !

I changed it to become an improbable phenomenon of physics that physicists will quickly recognise

I asked to collaborate all the most brillant electrophysiologists that I knew in France and in the USA. Especially my spiritual master Dr Albert Waldo who introduced the concept of "Entrainement" of a tachycardia demonstrating that it was a reentrant phenomenon. I was fascinated by this concept and thought about it for 3 years !

It was crucial to keep the brain working at this unique level. The simplest thing could have japadised the mental process. In that case it could need hours to reach again the same level of concentration...

However, the photographic numeric process has added a slight pink color on most of the background which fits perfectly well with the painting. Therefore I will have to add physically this slight change on this painting. During my last visit in California in 05/08 I added some more work introducing a different blue color and an additional graph in the background. I am not sure if that was correct. I will discuss that later...

Raisonning46 viewsThis is the phase of intense concentration during 3 days when I was working each day with only a piece of paper and a pencil from 8:00 to 11:00 PM. The last day at 10:30 PM, I was almost convinced that the probem was solved. It took me a few more days to confirm that my reasoning was correct ! The red calligraphy on the brain can represent the work of this structure investigated by dynamic Magnetic Resonance Imaging !

There is an intense emotionnal relation between the two figures.
This impression is partially given by the movement of rotation isolating the couple from the rest of the world !
