5 Roses in a Vase

This painting was stored in the cellar of one of my friends like thef fruits painting made at the same time
The roses have been studied on paper before to be transfered and slightly modified on the final support.
The background was tried as particularly complex. I had the impressin that it was too complex when I retrieved the painting after many years.
Some minor restoration was needed. However, the black and red parts of the roses have been repainted without any modification.
