AuversReal34 viewsThis is the actual view of the Eglise d'Auvers photographied in August 2008
The view is taken from the place where VG put his easel. However, if you compare with the painting you can deduce that he finished the painting at home because in the painting the lower part of the small building in the corner of the church is not on the same plane ! Aug 14, 2008

Eglise d'Auvers35 viewsThis is a copy that I made in 1960 of the famous work of Van Gogh when he spent 70 days in Auvers and painted 70 paintings.
In Auvers his was treated by Dr Gachet of which he made several portraits.
Feeling indebted to his brother Theo he killed himself with a shot pistol in the lung and died 2 days later. His brother did not survived him very long.
Their two graves one beside the other are visible in the Auvers cimetery Aug 14, 2008

5 Roses in a Vase39 viewsThis painting was stored in the cellar of one of my friends like thef fruits painting made at the same time
The roses have been studied on paper before to be transfered and slightly modified on the final support.
The background was tried as particularly complex. I had the impressin that it was too complex when I retrieved the painting after many years.
Some minor restoration was needed. However, the black and red parts of the roses have been repainted without any modification. Aug 14, 2008

Safety valve30 viewsThis is a drawing for industrial application. It will be given to a mechanics to follow exactly the size of each component and construct a device which is used on a steam engine or reservoir.
The main part of the drawing is correct. However, all the writing is very poor. In fact it was made as an exercise and in this context the quality of writing was not important. It is presented on this website because it can explain my interest in designing the device for railway security presented in 2008 on the N° 186 painting. Aug 07, 2008

Beginning of polymerisation36 viewsThis represents the beginning of the junction of molecules of different kinds represented by different colors.
Colors may also represent physical properties which are known or even unknown.
At the end of polymerisation an homogeneous structure will be produced with properties which completely different of those of its original components.
This painting is finally a representation of a phenomenon that I feel intuitively with strong mechanical reactive forces, exothermic, change of physical properties etc...
It is in the same style as biological cells without a nuclei Aug 01, 2008
